GTA Announces GNAT Box System Software Version 3.2
Patch Level 5 (3.2.5)
Orlando, FL - March 25, 2002 – Global Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA), a worldwide leader in cost-effective network security solutions, today announced the release of GNAT Box System software version 3.2 patch level 5 (3.2.5). The new system software release will be available for GNAT Box Pro Firewall System, GB-Flash Firewall System, GB-100 Firewall Appliance, GB-1000 Firewall/VPN Appliance and RoBoX Firewall Appliance.
The new software update incorporates enhancements for users with PPPoE connections as well as a number of small issues that have been brought to our attention since the release of ver 3.2 patch level 4 (3.2.4).
Global Technology Associates strives to ensure the security and ease of use of our GNAT Box System Software, the foundation of our full line of firewall products. To better serve our customers, we have modified our update strategy to provide more frequent incremental updates for the GNAT Box System Software (incremental or patch level updates are indicated by a change in the third or final digit of the version number).
The system software is available for download for eligible end-users through GTA's online support center. Version 3.2 patch level 5 (3.2.5) will be made available for download at no charge to all licensed 3.2.x system software users. Users with GNAT Box system software ver. 3.1.x or earlier should contact GTA or their local authorized reseller for information regarding upgrades. Users outside the United States and Canada should contact their local support supplier.
