GTA Releases GB-OS 5.2 Firewall UTM Software
Orlando, FL - February 17, 2009 - Global Technology Associates, Inc announced today the release of GB-OS 5.2 Firewall UTM Software. This release includes new features and enhancements, and addresses issues identified in previous software versions. Full release notes may be reviewed by visiting the GTA website at www.gta.com.
GB-OS 5.2 features improved VPN failover and the addition of link aggregation, which combined with other existing GTA features, allow network administrators to build a fully redundant network. Improvements to the VPN Setup Wizard, along with VPN status notifications, help simplify configuration and system monitoring.
Additional system enhancements included in GB-OS 5.2 offer users an enhanced user experience. GB-OS 5.2 features a dynamic Web interface with automatic refresh rates, heightened responsiveness and improved navigation. Historical data is now also available for network administrators to review CPU usage, memory usage, security associations, packets denied, active connections and bandwidth.
Effective February 17, 2008, GB-OS 5.2 will be available for download via the GB-OS Web interface or through the GTA Online Support Center to existing GTA customers with a GTA support contract or annual maintenance agreement. GTA will begin shipping GB-OS 5.2 pre-installed on new units on February 17, 2008.
