PRODUCT GUIDE ERRATA
GB-Commander Reports
-----
Customers with GNAT Box System Software version 3.4.4 or earlier will only be
able to view GB-Commander Firewall Filter Block reports data; versions 3.4.4
and earlier do not log other data to the integrated log parser. If other
reports are desired, please contact GTA Support to receive an activation code
for a stand-alone copy of GTA Reporting Suite, available via download.
Close GB-Commander Client When Not in Use
-----
GTA recommends closing GB-Commander Client when it is not in use. A Client
that has run continuously for an extended time may log out unexpectedly if a
large number of alarms are acknowledged (acked) simultaneously. If a Client
does log out unexpectedly after acknowledging alarms, restart the Client and
acknowledge the alarms in smaller groups.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPGRADE NOTES
If upgrading from a previous GTA management software program or reporting
package, including a previous version of GTA Reporting Suite, de-install all
of the components before installing GB-Commander with GTA Reporting Suite.
ODBC-compliant Databases
-----
Users can choose from a list of supported ODBC-compliant databases. The list
can be found on www.gta.com. MSDE is provided on the GB-Commander Installation
disk for evaluation purposes or very small-scale use.
