GTA Reporting Suite 2.0 is a component of the GTA Firewall Control
Center. To run reports on monitored firewalls, GTA Reporting Suite 2.0
makes use of a platform-independent Java-based client.

1.  INSTALL NOTES

    1.1 Upgrading From GTA Reporting Suite 1.x
    
        If you are upgrading from GTA Reporting Suite 1.x, you will need
        to backup your current database using DBManager and then
        uninstall any previous versions of GTA Reporting Suite as well
        as GTAsyslog or GB Commander. It is also necessary to delete the
        old GTA Reporting Suite 1.x database.

        GTA Reporting Suite 2.0 does not allow the importing of data
        from GTA Reporting Suite 1.x.  Database backups from versions
        prior to 2.0.1 are suitable for archival purposes only.

    1.2 Software Installation

        GTA Reporting Suite 2.0 includes an installation wizard that
        automatically generates the required data source names based on
        the server's installed ODBC-compliant database.

        Reporting Suite 2.0 User's Guide.  The GTA Reporting Suite 2.0
        User's Guide can be found on the Installation CD or online at
        http://www.gta.com/support/documents.
        

2.  FIREWALL CONTROL CENTER SERVER

    2.1 Modifications
                
        2.1.2   The Firewall Control Center server now displays more
                detailed messages when a license is invalid.

    3.1 Bug Fixes
    
        3.1.1   Alarm records for firewalls operating on GB-OS 4.0.4
                are now correctly displayed.

                plain text.

                fails to start when installed on a hard drive other than

    4.1 New Features
    
        4.1.1   The Database Management window is now only available to
                top-level administrators. Other administrators will be
                prompted with a message when attempting to manage the
                database.

                Disposition Summary reports.
