GB Commander 2.0, a component of the GTA Firewall Control Center, has
been completely revised and updated. To administer monitored
firewalls, GB Commander 2.0 makes use of a platform-independent
Java-based client.

1. INSTALL NOTES
1.1 Upgrading From Previous Versions
If you are upgrading from a previous version of GB Commander,
you will need to backup your current database using DBManager
and then uninstall any previous versions of GB Commander as well
as GTAsyslog or GTA Reporting Suite. It is also necessary to
delete the old GB Commander database.
GB Commander 2.0 does not allow the importing of old
data. Database backups from previous versions are suitable for
archival purposes only.
1.2 Software Installation
GB Commander 2.0 includes an installation wizard that generates
the required data source names automatically based on the
servers installed ODBC-compliant database. For complete
installation instructions, please refer to the GB Commander 2.0
User's Guide. The GB Commander 2.0 User's Guide can be found on
the Installation CD or online at
