require no additional operating system.

includes the operating system. |
[FAQ Main]
|
| How do I install GB-Pro? |
GB-Pro boots and runs from a 3.5" 1.44MB
floppy diskette, (no hard disk is
required). The GNAT Box System runtime and utilities needed
to create the boot
disk are supplied on a CD-ROM (ISO 9660
format), which should be readable by
most modern computer systems, (DOS/Win,
Macintosh and Unix). The procedure
varies slightly depending upon the
operating system you are using to create
the GNAT Box System boot floppy
diskette, however the steps are
generally the same:
- Transfer the GB-Pro runtime disk
image to a 3.5" formatted floppy
diskette. (Use one of the GNAT Box
System utility programs).
- Insert the GB-Pro diskette into the
target hardware platform (your GB-Pro
system).
- Boot the system.
- From GUI interface assign IP
addresses, netmasks and options on your
network interfaces. Set the default
route. Press save.
- The system will complete the booting
process into full runtime mode.
- Make any modifications or additions
via the web browser interface.
